We got scrappy. We drove to local retailers — mostly convenience stores — and asked if we could display simple signage ads: posters, flyers, business cards, you name it.
We added a QR code to each flyer (designed on Canva, easy stuff) and tracked every scan and every purchase.
That’s how we helped Financiato blow up. From Dec 2022 to Dec 2023, our team of affiliate marketers helped gross over $70 million in sales. We negotiated a 5% commission, which brought in $3.54 million across the team.

Here’s the thing: You can do this too. (I really hope you do)
Just go to your local corner stores, gas stations, or small retailers. Ask if you can display a flyer (8.5"x11" plastic displays work perfectly). Some retailers might charge a small flat fee ($10+), others might do it for free, or agree to a commission-based deal. It’s all about good faith and keeping relationships strong. Trust me, this is way better than spending hundreds just testing ads online.
It's best to place your Display Ad links where real shoppers are actually shopping.
So, work with retailers and figure out where active shoppers are looking to buy.
The United States is the biggest consumer industry in the world. People will buy. Just promote your links here.

2. Stop wasting money on Google Ads—or any ad platform, for that matter! Most impressions are lost to bots, and clicks are often ignored. Please, don’t keep throwing your money away.
Clicks don’t always mean buyers — a lot are bots, or bounce.
